For specific procedures where the patient might require a more extensive insertion tube, the Dual Channel EC-3890TLK is a good alternative with a 13.2mm insertion tube and the instrument channel at 2.8mm and 3.8mm in diameter respectively.
This is different from the slim and standard instrument channel diameters, which are single and at 3.8mm and 4.2mm, respectively. The total length of the slim and the standard colonoscopes are the same (2023mm), but the dual-channel colonoscope is slightly loner at 2033mm.

The EC2990Li Video Colonoscope is one step above the Slim versions and is known as the UltraSlim colonoscope. It is one of the smallest diameter colonoscopes in the Pentax Medical video colonoscope series. This is an excellent alternative for those situations where it is impossible to insert a device with a bigger insertion tube diameter.
The UltraSlim series has a tiny 9.8mm diameter insertion tube with a 2.8mm instrument channel. It also comes with high-definition resolution and a water jet dedicated to the channel to remove any buildup or blockage in the track.
This device is helpful for patients with severe conditions that don’t allow for bigger diameter devices. For example, if the patient’s colon is twisted or makes some sharp turns with little wiggle space for the machine. It’s also good to use on children since they have smaller organs.
Another plus point for this device is the retroflex position capability which is very helpful for challenging polyp removal since it comes with a bending section at a short turn radius.
