Description

Stegmann MicroCrescent

The first device in this range is the Stegmann Microcrescent diamond scalpel, known for its accuracy and precision. Don’t judge this scalpel by its looks; we’ll have you know that it is an excellent device of the highest quality. 

The ultra-thin blade is rehonable and pierces surprisingly well for a paracentesis procedure. While it may not be able to compete with the likes of the triamond, it still gives you what you need. The blade’s width is 0.75/1.2mm and is angled at 60 degrees. It has special Ahmed 45 degree mounting capabilities and an inverted stealth blade faceting. Moreover, it consists of 5 edges made of trapezoidal shards. 

Overall, the Stegmann micro crescent is ideal for a wide range of applications where there is a need for controlled lamellar dissections. These include corneal pocket dissections and trabeculectomies. 

Khan Crescent 

The Khan crescent diamond scalpel comes with a tip angle of 60 degrees. The blade is ultra-thin (100-120) with an applicable length of 5mm. The blade is rehonable and has a width of 0.1/1.5 mm. Additionally, You can use an inverted stealth blade faceting with this device. 

The khan crescent scalpel has 5 edges made of trapezoidal shards that form tapered wound margins. This makes it highly applicable for enlargement procedures. Finally, the slot feature allows for the wicking of blood away from the dissection area.  

Ahmed SuperCrescent
