The Stegmann micro crescent elite II micrometer scalpel comes with multiple choices for footplates. These include a corneal view and two inset profiles, one used with a compass and one with a guide ring. The tip angle of this device is 77 degrees and is compatible with straight mounting. 

The rehonable blade is ultra-thin, with a usable length of 4.0 mm at full extension and inverted stealth faceting. The Stegmann micro crescent has been known to allow optimum control for LRIs. 

Fine Triamond, Elite II Micrometer

The Mastel fine triamond elite II micrometer is well known by the top surgeons in this field. The model offers an aggressive cutting structure and is suitable to be used with the Olson guide ring. Alternatively, it can also be used with the Mastel arcuate corneal compass. 

It comes with an ultra-thin rehonable blade with a width of 0.3mm truncation to 1.2 mm and an applicable length of 4.0 mm. 

Davis Doubler Micrometer

Mastel’s Davis doubler micrometer is without a doubt the most significant model in this series. Its uses range from micro incisional enhancement and astigmatic keratotomy to gimbal relaxing incisions and slit lamps. Let us look at some of the specifications of this excellent device.

 

Looking at the tip, it has a width of 0.22 mm at an angle of 10 degrees. The device is compatible with straight mounting.
