Our three protective measures on every hand-piece repair:
Wire protection
The most in danger point of the Phaco handpiece wire is where the cord links to the shell or the connector. This area is strained as the user turns or twists the handpiece during a procedure. Ophthalmon created a molded strain reliever to give protection at the link by distributing the stress along the cord.
Protection from moisture intrusion
Phaco handpieces are sealed at the place where the cord links to the handpiece. After repeated sterilization, the seals break down and become an initial point of bad moisture intrusion. Ophthalmon use a firmer, stronger seal that resists breakdowns and improve the life of the handpiece.
Insulation
A general cause of handpiece failure is a wire issue, which is due to a deficiency of sufficient wire protection. Ophthalmon includes a layer of insulation between both the inside wire and an outer silicone sheathing to strengthen and save the wire.
When performed right, AOI CX7000 compatible Phaco handpiece repair is less expensive than changing handpiece fully, and as the leading provider of Phaco handpiece repairs, we would not rest until your tool is in like-new and working situation.
